Panasonic Reveals G3

Panasonic has launched its Lumix G3, claiming it to be the world's smallest and lightest interchangeable lens system camera with a build-in electronic viewfinder, weighing in at just 336g!

Currently the Panasonic site is down, probably due to the launch of the G3. However, here is what we know so far:

  • 16.3-megapixel Live MOS sensor
  • sensitivity range of ISO160 to ISO6400
  • AF mode with 23 focus areas
  • full-HD at a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels
  • available in June at a retail price of £550 (body only) and £629 with a 14-42mm lens.
